The Unofficial West Village Neighborhood Watch Announces New Petition Campaign For Of All Things… A Bench

NEW YORK, NY – [10/05/2023] – The Unofficial West Village Neighborhood Watch is thrilled to announce the launch of “The West Village Bench Project,” a grassroots campaign aimed at petitioning City Councilman Erik Bottcher of District 3 to install a much-needed bench at the intersection of Seventh Ave South and Bedford St in the heart of the West Village, Manhattan.

The West Village Bench Project aims to enhance the community’s accessibility and provide a comfortable spot for residents and visitors to rest, connect, and enjoy the vibrant neighborhood. Currently, this bustling intersection lacks seating options, leaving individuals with limited places to relax and take in the unique atmosphere of the West Village.

The campaign’s goal is to collect 1000 signatures from community members who support the installation of a bench at Seventh Ave South and Bedford St. The Unofficial West Village Neighborhood Watch believes that this initiative will not only benefit the local community but also promote a more inclusive and inviting atmosphere for all.
